Privacy Policy

SIYAK is a translation workbench for the text inside apps and websites. This page says

what is held about you and what happens to it.

What is stored

Your email address, the name you choose to give, your plan, and the date the account

opened. The projects you create and the strings inside them: source text, translated

text, a screen hint, and the language each one is in. Counts — requests and characters

per project per day, which are numbers and not copies of your text. A salted hash of

your password and of every API key, which nobody can read back. Support tickets and

the answers they receive.

What goes to a translation model

A string, the language it should become, the glossary terms you pinned for that

project, and the context you attached. That is the entire payload. Your email address,

password, keys and payment details are never part of it.

What does not happen

Your data is not sold. It is not used to train a public model. This site runs no

advertising and no third-party trackers, and asks no phone number, location or device

identifier.

Payments

Money moves between you and the operator through Vodafone Cash or TapTap Send. We

record the amount, the method, the sender reference you type, and the decision taken

on it. The payment networks hold everything else.

Who can see your work

Only you, through your own credentials. The operator reads platform counts — how many

strings a project holds, how much it has used — and, when a ticket requires it, the

thread itself. Row-level security in the database applies that rule to every query

rather than only at the edge of the application.

Retention and deletion

Deleting a project removes its strings, keys, glossary terms and usage rows. Closing an

account removes its profile. A short audit trail is kept — which account did which

action, when, from what address — because a platform that cannot answer that question

cannot protect the accounts on it.
